You Can’t Fill Them With Cotton

“You Can’t Fill Them With Cotton” is a saying that’s used in my family in Lithuania when you get hurt because back there it is very common to put cotton buds on one’s injuries. While the short movie directly refers to the explanation, in this case it means that when the wounds are too big, you cannot ‘fix’ them with cotton.

The short movie provides a brief glimpse into the life of someone who has been ‘used and abused’ by people and how the damage starts to show on one’s body.

“You Can’t Fill Them With Cotton” was the initial idea of “It Only Rains Under” and it is the foundation of the project and how it came to be.
